I needed to find a mechanic and someone told me about this business because they had been going to them for over 30 years.  That impressed me.  So I went and this company is very professional and do take care of their customers.  I was given a quote for the work I needed done and they said if they didn't have to repair or replace some things it would come in less.  They did exactly that, fixed what needed to be fixed in a timely manner and my bill was less than my quote!  Rare is it that I feel that I found an honest automotive repair place.  Precision Automotive is that!! - Eric G (5 star review found on Yelp)

Raise your hand if you like putting your car in the repair shop:  I don't see any hands . . .Sure it starts with a problem in my beloved auto, but with other shops it can get worse from there. I have lived in Manteca for 30 years. I trust their advice, and recommendations. I have a 1990 F350 that I bought about a year ago and had nothing but problems with it. I have a few of these trucks and am usually able to fix them for the most part.   One day I had no power at all and I couldn't figure it out. I took it in to Precision and they had it fixed within a couple of days. Now the truck runs better than it ever has and I am really happy with the service. I have used Precision a few times and have always had great service. Mike the customer service rep is very knowledgeable and keeps you updated and informed. I needed the AC replaced on my 2010 Prius after hitting some debris on the freeway. Modesto Toyota quoted me 1500 for parts and labor. I found the parts myself and called Precision Auto to see if they would put the parts I bought on the vehicle. Ted said they would, but that they couldn't guarantee the parts since they didn't know where they came from, if they were the right ones, etc. I told him I was okay with that. Later that day he called me to tell me he took the liberty of calling around for my parts and found them for only 35 bucks more than I'd found them for and that they could guarantee these parts for two years. I agreed and was so pleased and surprised that he made the effort on my behalf! They have a night drop for your keys, the shop and waiting area is spacious and clean, and they completed all the work I needed on the AC plus refurbishing my headlight covers and doing an alignment for half of what Modesto Toyota quoted. This place is GREAT!!! Great customer service, very personable staff and just an all around  pleasant atmosphere.  I have a 15 year old vehicle and I have a need for a good and honest mechanics.
